He sounds desperate and immature but I do feel bad for him. He also seems lonely and defeated. I can’t exactly blame him for not wanting to share health issues with a relative stranger but it’s odd considering it sounds like he was already planning your future. Glad you discovered early on that you weren’t interested because it sounds like if you waited any longer he might not accept you breaking things off!
